The conspirative cult of Horns was founded during the mid-nineties in the remote lands of Southern Chile and spawned three demo tapes of vile and horrific Black Metal which only circulated among few individuals close to the band. In 2000 the members of Horns gathered again to re-work those demo tracks into their first full-length recording by the name of "Dominvs Umbraes". However, this recording remained hidden in obscurity until Horns relocated to the frozen soils of Sweden, which led to the album´s first release on tape in 2009, distributed through Scythe of Death Productions. With "Dominvs Umbraes" Horns summon nine grim tracks of tyrannic low-fi Black Metal in an unflinching non-fashion way like it was practiced in the old days. With their searingly raw and remorseless execution, Horns become sonic messengers of hateful cryptic evil. Ancient satanic Black Metal echoing from the darkness beyond, celebrating perdition and eternal death, praising the wolfish spirit of the strong.
None Shall Defy Records finally presents "Dominvs Umbraes" on LP, specifically remastered from vault materials for vinyl and issued in 180 handnumbered copies. No gimmicks, no bonus, just archaic Black Metal terror.
For more than a decade Deathgate Arkanum has served as the medium for sole member S. to transmit and perpetuate his deep-minded vision of cold and atmospheric Black Metal through several demo tapes and split contributions as well as two full-length albums. Driven with unbound creativity and fueled by strong individualism, Deathgate Arkanum showed a perseverant evolution towards more complex soundscapes of surreal negativity and ulterior mystic ambience. Nevertheless a keen sense for the pristine dark harshness of traditional Black Metal pervades all those recordings. With "Seelen" Deathgate Arkanum has created four new tracks of unequalled grandeur. Those tracks transcend the listener beyond the shallowness of present existence into an emotional void beyond common human perception. "Seelen" will drag the mind on an aural journey through moribund sorrow and utter darkness towards the burning aether.
Released on clear vinyl in a gatefold cover with spot-lacquered layout. Issued in 500 copies through the collaboration of Amor Fati Productions and None Shall Defy Records.
Die Toten Kehren Wieder mit dem Wind created a distinctive form of peculiar Black Metal for the first time with "Verarbeitung eines Schmerzes", combining abrasively distorted layers of harsh string work with subliminal depressing harmony and ghastly ambience, accompanied by distressed screams as well as an almost minimalist yet effectively driving pulse. Thereby "Verarbeitung eines Schmerzes" gives a vivid impression of total disgust, anger and disdain, emanating a feeling of painful misery and bleak misanthropy. Those emotions are precisely channeled into six tracks of album-quality which display a rawer and more straightforward approach compared to later recordings of the band´s enigmatic sole member, nevertheless they already reveal the genuine characteristics which separate Die Toten Kehren Wieder mit dem Wind from the masses of contemporary Black Metal.
Originally released in 2004 on CDr, "Verarbeitung eines Schmerzes" finally gets re-released in its initially intentioned form on tape. Issued in 200 handnumbered copies with pro printed inlay and cardboard slipcase.

Animus Mortis from Chile are a rather new force within the realms of Black Metal, defying the generic cliches which are usually associated with the South American scene. Instead they persistently pursue their own uninhibited vision of mystical occult black art through complex and expansive soundscapes of fast desolate Black Metal with a sophisticated yet wicked fusion of grievous melodies. After their first full-length album and a collection of demo recordings as well as a split LP contribution, Animus Mortis evoke a new manifestation of surreal aural obscurity with "Mysteriis Vox Divina".
Two exclusive tracks of cold and introspective Black Metal, creating an ethereal aura of pure maliciousness and nocturnal bleakness. Testimonies of inner purification and assimilation to the truth.
Released in a Gatefold cover with gold printing. Issued in 500 handnumbered copies.
For more than a decade now Québécois Akitsa have spawned their own unique brand of scornful Black Metal through several albums, EPs and split recordings. Expanding their sound with a visionary sense for dilapidated imperfection and ruthless audial affronts armed with fierce unpolished production, Akitsa still embody the pure black essence with a strong grasp for traditionalism both musically and lyrically, making them the predominant purveyors of cruel and radical North American Black Metal.
Now Akitsa return with two tracks of harsh and crude Black Metal minimalism plus one Ambient track, descending into unsought depths of pure death worship while still maintaining the traditional raw Black Metal aura which they are reckoned for.
Issued in 489 handnumbered copies with cardboard inlay.
Ungod came to being during the early nineties when they pioneered the German Black Metal scene with only a handful of other bands. With one demo tape of unadulterated metallic blackness in 1992 as well as their first full-length album in 1993, which to this day stands as a dark monument of sinister apocalyptic Black Metal, Ungod disappeared back into the void after another MLP and some split EP contributions which all delivered perfectly crafted yet filthy Black Metal of Death performed the old school way.
Several years later Ungod rise again from the fiery pit with their new track "Gazing through the Mask of Perdition", displaying pure, grim and malign Black Metal in its most crude and rotten manifestation with an unholy vibe of obscure doom-laden ambience. Ungod´s ultra-conservative approach proves them to be still loyal to the old evil tradition, but this time executed in an even rawer contemptuous form.
Mort, the other band in league on this split release, has been created in the early years of the new millennium and nowadays features the violent pounding of Ungod´s drummer Condemptor. After a row of necrotic demo recordings and several full-length albums, which demonstrated a steady progress towards a more elaborate sound of traditional Black Metal with waves of shrill northern coldness, Mort unleash a fierce beast of hateful and relentless sonic blasphemy with "Ascent of Chaos", which to this day stands among the band's finest achievements.
Released with 4-page inlay, printed innersleeve and a poster. Issued in 500 handnumbered copies.
